Membership Eligibility

  • Anyone aged between  12 to 35 years old with an interest in participating in the mission to contribute to the abandonment of FGM,  leadership,  management and global issues can be involved in GLOBAL YOUTH CONSORTIUM AGAINST FGM’s activities on a voluntary basis.
 
  • The membership of the consortium shall not be limited to individuals but will also include mobilized groups of youth, movements, organizations,  networks, coalitions that are actively involved in working on women rights, gender issues, FGM, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Youth-focused issues and Gender-Based Violence.
 
  • Members should join by application through an online portal. All members must be registered in the membership database.
 
  • The number admitted shall not be limited, considering the demographic trends of young people.
